BR Grundlagen in englischer Sprache: Introduction to the duties of the works council (BR I)

The seminar »Introduction to Works Council Work« is the foundation for the basic knowledge of every works council. It provides an overview of the Works Constitution Act (Betriebsverfassungsgesetz, BetrVG), the various participation rights and their enforcement options. Practical exercises are used to teach how to apply the law. In addition to teaching the »tools« of works constitution law, the seminar aims to enhance the ability of employee representatives to act. In the seminar, competencies are developed in a practiceoriented manner to better understand operational areas of tension and to tackle the legal tasks and problems that may arise.
